It has been an exciting week around here at JIAB!

On Tuesday we found out that my book The Ultimate Guide to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is being featured in the Apple iBookstore children‘s category in the #1 position!!

Don’t you think we should celebrate ? I sure do. Here’s what we’re doing. Until Apple takes us off our featured position, we are offering The Ultimate Guide to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory PDF  for …(drum roll…)

$9.95!! Head on over here and put in the code word apple.

But HURRY. WE don’t know how long Apple will keep Charlie in the “We’re #1!!” spot so don’t delay.

Are you an iPad owner and want to see the enhanced digital magic that is The Ultimate Guide to Charlie? Head over here to secure your copy of the iBookstore version of The Ultimate Guide To Charlie and The Chocolate Factory and into the roadmap to this magical world.

Other fabulous news is that the autumn colors are incredible this year. Here are some fun fall crafts to get everyone inspired. You might recognize somebody you know as one of the creators of one of these crafts. 🙂 I was really happy to discover Musings from a SAHM, and am very thankful and honored to be featured there.

I’ve been doing a lot of work with the Alphabet this week and greatly love these  paper craft alphabet animals from digit prop .

Remember Amy Rovere author of And Still They Bloom ? We did a review of her amazing book that helps families cope with loss and grief back in September.  The really good news is that Miss Amy has just won two  awards for her efforts. Amy Rovere
Gold Medal in the Juvenile Level 2 Books (Ages 9–12): Body, Mind & Spirit Category for the 2012 Mom’s Choice Awards!

Bronze Medal in the Mind-Body-Spirit/Self-Esteem category of the 2012 Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards!

Congratulations Amy !!!!  Amy will be on an upcoming episode of the Jump into a Book podcast as well. 🙂

Melissa Taylor from Imagination Soup has created a halloween scavenger hunt that is really fun. We’ll be doing it this weekend at little Mimi’s birthday party.Halloween Scavenger Hunt

One of my favorite blogs No Time For Flashcards has the cutest little ghost potato print garland and a fantastic halloween book list.

OK, I think that just about does it for this week. See you next week for some Haunted Fun !!!!
