It’s time for Weekend Links! This week has seen a lot of fun going on as our friends celebrated Halloween, participating in the wildly successful (and first-ever) Book Or Treat, and just basically recovering from sugar buzzes.  I hope this week has seen some inspiring reading and creative moments for you, here’s a few of mine.

  • It is technically November so those of us who make our holiday gifts better get cracking. Want a head start ? I’m happy to share that it’s time for Sew Mama Sew’s Handmade Holidays. Every day this month you’ll find tutorials, printables, recipes, giveaways and more. They help you create a happy, handmade holiday season. I wait for this every single year !!!!

  • This next link was a huge find for me this week. I couldn’t stop talking about it. As you’ve probably noticed I take a lot of photos. I have to perpetually back them up onto an external hard drive which can be taxing at times after I’ve forgotten to do it for awhile. Not anymore. This week I discovered This Life. This Life pulls photos off your phone, hard-drive, photo streams, flickr, tumblr, Facebook, twitter, smug mug and a myriad of other places people place photos. In less than 11 minutes, I backed up 25,000 photos. They are all happily stored in the cloud. 🙂 Oh happy day !!! Why don’t you go and have one too over at This Life.

  • Great reads and activities about Fall Festivals around the world.  And while we’re speaking about books, I want to remind everyone that it’s Picture Book Month. Some of our favorite Author’s and Illustrator’s love to jump into the very books they write. Stop by their websites and have many happy creative reading and play moments.
