Welcome back for our fourth installment of our series Read Around the Continents! So far we’ve read our way through Africa, South America and North America. 

This month we are exploring the reading, books and culture of Eastern Europe!

  1. Thanks for the Eastern European focus! One of my favourite parts of the world. If you do find any books relating to Armenia/Azerbaijan/Georgia, would love to know. I’ve borrowed the Poland one from the library and used it with a nursery group when the nursery was having an international week. It’s a great one for little kids – and older ones too.

    1. Hi Myra, at first I thought I wasn’t familiar with these books and then after looking up their names I realize I am familiar with their work. I love Miroslav Sasek’s series and have a couple of his books in my collection. I’m more familiar with Anno in his fun math books so I’ll enjoy getting to know his travel series. Thanks for sharing !!!
