We are in full swing getting everything ready for Multicultural Children’s Book Day! It’s not far off now 🙂 (1/27/18)
Today I’m happy to share a beautiful new book by Demi from our long time friend and sponsor, Wisdom Tales Press.
Award winning author Demi shares another beautifully illustrated book Talking to God,Prayers for Children from the World’s Religions. This book is a gift of timeless wisdom and discovery as we view and experience how the world prays. This book of short prayers, spanning the worlds religions, gives insight into a variety of ways of conversing with God. Through the grace of prayer we enter into a dialog with God.
Prayers for Children from the World’s Religions
How do Jews, Christians, and Muslims pray? What about Hindus and Buddhists, Taoists and Shintoists, Africans and American Indians? How do each of them pray ?
Taking readers on a global journey, Demi’s accompanying illustrations bring each passage of prayer to life. From St. Mark’s Cathedral in Venice to King Solomon’s Temple and dome of the Rock in Jerusalem to the River Ganges in India; from the North American Plains to Central Africa, China and Japan. Demi transports us to each destination leaving us a complete experience of place and prayer.
Talking to God is a window into the world of time honored traditions, inviting readers to forge a loving relationship with their Creator.
This book as well as being exquisitely beautiful is the unfolding of a journey, it is simply an experience in and of itself.
Prayers for Children from the World’s Religions | More About Demi:

We are so thankful to our bronze sponsor Wisdom Tales for their continued support and for sending a copy of Talking to God for review. The opinion of the book is my own.
Now, let’s chat a bit about the online event that I co-founded with fellow mama, Mia Wenjen!
