Some may think that graphic novels are no more than a glorified comic book.

We have to disagree.

But first, what is a graphic novel? Wikipedia describes it best as “a book made up of comics content.

Although the word “novel” normally refers to long fictional works, the term “graphic novel” is applied broadly and includes fiction, non-fiction, and anthologized work. It is distinguished from the term “comic book”, which is generally used for comics periodicals.”Aimed at grades 4 through 8, these vibrant books are an excellent way to get reluctant readers interested in reading again.

Luckily, as time goes on, finding excellent diverse graphic novels for kids is getting easier and easier. That being said, here is a robust Roundup of Diverse Graphic Novels for Kids!
