Jump Into a Book’s 2018 Sponsored Posts/Advertising Packages



Founded in 2005 by Valarie Budayr (who is also the co-founder of Multicultural Children’s Book Day) Jump into a Book  is passionate about making children’s books come alive so that kids of all ages can experience children’s literature in new ways. The site ownership shifted to Budayr’s long-time “Head Elf” Becky Flansburg in 2018 who continues to share the message of reading, play, adventure and pulling books from shelves and stories from pages.

A Sponsored Post is one-time, evergreen, magazine-quality article/blog post that showcases a business, product or service on the (JIAB) website. Sponsored Posts are a way for a publisher/author/company to utilize JIAB’s robust readership and social media presence to shine the spotlight on their business or product. Consumers want to know and see the core and the authenticity of who they are doing business with and they want to do business with PEOPLE…not BRANDS.

**All Sponsored Posts must align with the voice and focus of We reserve the right to refuse if we feel it doesn’t reflect our focus or voice**

This one-time article (blog posts), that is no more than 500 words, will include 3-4 photos provided by the client, one Pinnable Image (created by JIAB staff), and a nofollow link (per Google’s rules) to the specified product, brand, or website.

**Client will be able to review and tweak article before it publishes. Once live, the article will remain on the JIAB website indefinitely (“evergreen”) or whatever is deemed appropriate.

The Sponsored Post will be shared and promoted 2X to each of JIAB’s social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest) including one Boosted Facebook post (included in fee total). Book or product reviews require a non-returnable sample of the book/product to be used as research for the honest review.


A Sponsored Post with Ad offers the same perks/benefits as a regular Sponsored Post, but also includes a 300x300px ad (provided by the client) on JIAB’s right sidebar. This ad will remain above the fold on the right sidebar for a period of 6 months and can be changed out (switched) one time during that 6-month period.

**Ads must be approved by the JIAB team.
